Flushing Carvel Celebrates Grand Opening
Carvel celebrated the grand opening of its new shop located at 147-03 45th Avenue today with a ribbon cutting ceremony conducted by Councilman Peter Koo. Guests in attendance received complimentary free ice cream and partook in opening day celebrations with the famed Fudgie the Whale, a DJ, and a face painter.
This Carvel is the brand's first new location in 15 years and is owned by franchisee Michael Lin. "We are excited to bring Carvel back to Flushing after so many years" Lin commented.
Grand Opening specials will run from April 27th to April April 29th. The Flushing Grand opening is just one of many celebrations for Carvel this year which celebrates 85 years in business since 1934.
