The second annual Flushing World's Fair Expo, organized by the Flushing Chamber of Commerce and funded by the Department of Small Business Services, kicked off on June 28th.  The event featured presentations, workshops, and a showcase of resources for entrepreneurs and local businesses.  The expo launches the "Passport to Flushing" campaign which features special promotions and discounts by some of the areas best local restaurants and runs for two weeks starting on June 28th.. 

The annual Expo event opened at Queens College with an 8 am breakfast and business forum on Asian-American Women Entrepreneurs.  Thereafter, the days events continued into the afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel where featured presentations, workshops, and a showcase of resources for entrepreneurs and local businesses were on display.  

The below videos recorded the keynote speaker of the Expo, Joe DiStefano, author of "111 places in Queens That You Must Not Miss" which was followed by a marketing forum hosted by Rob MacKay of the Queens Tourism Council.  Presentations were also made by Sixty-first Productions and Brandtree Media.
