The second Flushing World's Fair Expo, organized by the Flushing Chamber of Commerce and funded by the Department of Small Business Services, took place on June 28th. The event featured presentations, workshops, and a showcase of resources for entrepreneurs and local businesses. The expo kicks off the "Passport to Flushing" campaign which features special promotions and discounts by some of the areas best local restaurants and runs for two weeks starting on June 28th..
The Expo event began at Queens College with an 8 am breakfast and business forum on Asian-American Women Entrepreneurs. Thereafter, the expo continued its afternoon session at the Sheraton Hotel where featured presentations, workshops, and a showcase of resources for entrepreneurs and local businesses were on display.
The below videos chronicle the keynote speaker of the Expo, Joe DiStefano, author of "111 places in Queens that You Must Not Miss" which was followed by a marketing forum hosted by Rob MacKay of the Queens Tourism Council. Presentations were made by Sixty-first Productions and Brandtree Media.
